On August 6, 2003 the Ashoka Institute hosted Avner Haramati and his family at Ashoka House. Avner is a facilitator and organizational psychologist from Jerusalem, Israel. His wife Sarah is a clinical psychologist. A group of about 20 people from Bowen Island, Vancouver and Chicago joined us for the talk.

Avner and Sarah spoke on the history of conflict in Israel both between Israelis and Palestinians and within each respective society. Avner also described how Open Space Technology was being used (and might be used in the future) to work within this conflict.

The Institute thanks Avner and his family for sharing their experiences with us

This space is for notes on the talk, and discussion about the ideas that were raised during the evening.
